Artist Statement

In my own art practice, my artwork revolves around the theme of process and patterns. I tend to focus on patterns and imagery found in the natural world, and the technical processes of painting, drawing, embroidery, and other fiber arts. My work is humorous, curious, and reflects subjects and themes that spark my imagination and interest. I strive to incorporate elements of ordinary daily life with a pinch of unrealistic imagery, blending multiple techniques and mediums together to create an image or piece.
